This course is intended to extend and elaborate your understanding of human resource management and associated challenges of the “people management” side of organizations. This course will explore and develop the specific concepts and skills needed to address the everyday challenge of being a HR practitioner in a professional business organization.
This is a course about basic human resource management skills and practical knowledge, learning to work better with people, and learning how to manage and orient others to follow procedures and workplace policies. I will use case studies to improve your skills at diagnosing, analyzing, and handling the everyday challenges of being a HR practitioner. Your internal drive to learn about HR and overall discipline needed to manage your work is a necessary part of your learning in this course – particularly if you do follow the instructions provided in your present role or workplace.
Readings for the course – some classic, some cutting-edge – will provide you the opportunity to dig deeper and learn more from the business cases, handouts, video segments, graded quizzes and writing assignments will provide you opportunities to consolidate your learning.
I personally feel very enthusiastic & high spirited to share my 2 decades of learning with you and eager to learn from you as well. You can post your comments and questions for further understanding of the subject matter in the spaces/links provided.
I wish you great learning experience!
